Download the colonoscopy prep instructions prescribed by your colorectal specialist by visiting their physician page.

General Tips as You Prepare for Your Procedure:

  • Shop for supplies.  Pick up clear liquids such as Gatorade, G2, popsicles, Jell-O, Italian ice, or broth.
  • Clear your schedule. Once bowel prep begins, stay close to a restroom.
  • Drink your prep solution according to prep instructions provided. Often, sucking on a lemon slice or a hard candy afterward can help with the taste.
  • Wear comfortable, easy-fitting clothing.
