April West Fox, M.D., FACS, FASCRS, is a native of Lubbock, Texas, and attended The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, graduating with honors in 2001. She completed her fellowship in colon and rectal surgery at Texas Health Resources Presbyterian Hospital/The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in 2012. She served as an Assistant Professor of Surgery at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas prior to her relocation in Austin. She has a special interest in minimally invasive surgery, colonoscopy, colon and rectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, benign anorectal disorders and pelvic floor dysfunction.
