Jefferson B. Hurley, M.D., FACS, FASCRS
A native of Dallas, TX, Jefferson B. Hurley, M.D., FACS, FASCRS, began his career in general surgery as a missionary surgeon in Nigeria, West Africa, following his surgical residency. During his mission he had the unique opportunity to perform abdominal operations in a challenging setting, as well as performing for orthopedic, urologic, gynecologic and head and neck surgeries. Upon his return to the United States, Dr. Hurley focused on the specialty of colorectal surgery during his fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio, completed in 1999.

Other Information

Dr. Hurley has three grown kids he adores and is thinking about a dog. In his free time, he enjoys weight training, yoga, cycling and generally being outside and active. He is an avid reader of fiction, a beginner bird watcher, and he loves a good late night movie.
